Delivery Charges and Locations
Free delivery on qualifying orders is only applicable to purchases that are made in a single invoice, to a single address in one trip, unless otherwise stated.
If a single order must be split into various delivery dates/locations/timings due to special requests and/or selection of delivery dates within the stated delivery lead-time period, additional logistics charges will apply at the discretion of Godrej (S) Pte. Ltd.,
There are no delivery charges for all purchases that are self-collected from our warehouse. There are no installation charges, unless otherwise stated.
Items which are self-collected from our warehouse may be in assembled or knock down form as per the needs of the customers transport arrangements. If goods are collected in knock down condition, customer is responsible for the successful assembly of the goods at site. Any damage caused by customer to assemble the goods wrongly would be excluded from warranty.
If Godrej (S) Pte. Ltd. Is called up to carry out assembly at site for goods which are self-collected from our warehouse, separate charges would apply.
Free delivery on qualifying orders is only applicable within Singapore mainland. Additional delivery charges may be incurred at the discretion of Godrej (S) Pte. Ltd should the deliveries be chosen to occur outside of our normal operating hours.
The following Delivery Rates stated are per invoice to a single address in one trip:
Complimentary Free Delivery:
1. If the order contains at least S$400.00(excl GST) worth of items.
To qualify for free complimentary delivery, your delivery location must also be accessible via elevator (i.e. on the same story as lift landing) or must be on the same floor as the goods loading/unloading area.
Standard Delivery Fees
If your order does not qualify for ‘Free Delivery’ (S$400.00 excl GST), standard delivery fees imposed at S$25/- (excl GST) on the products per invoice to a single address in one trip. This fee is Non Refundable in case of Product return or Refund. (Refer to Return & refund Policy).
In case of Product Return or Refund which is not due to any defects and is merely a change of mind, Standard Delivery Fees S$25/- (excl GST) shall be applicable(even in case of free complimentary delivery) and the same will NOT be refundable.(Refer to Return & refund Policy)
After Hours Delivery Fees
Any delivery timeslots requested to be scheduled after 6pm during standard delivery days will be subject to an Additional S$30.00(excl GST) delivery surcharge.
Staircase Delivery Fees
If the delivery crew is unable to send furniture to your location via the elevator at the point of delivery (eg. Furniture is unable to fit into elevator, elevator unserviceable upon delivery crew's arrival, refusal of elevator access by building management etc) Godrej (S) Pte. will assess (at our own discretion) the feasibility of the furniture being carried up via the staircase in a non-hazardous manner.
If the process is deemed hazardous and the delivery is deemed unfeasible, (e.g furniture or infrastructure prone to damage on narrow stairway, obstruction of passageway), Godrej (S) Pte. Ltd. reserves the right to cancel the delivery.
Upon cancellation, a refund of any of your prior payments for that delivery will be made by cheque or bank transfer within two weeks from the initial delivery date.
Should delivery via staircase be deemed safe, additional charges per item will be as follows:
- S$12.00(excl GST) per item transported to each level non-lift-accessible story
Example:
A delivery comprising of a Table and a chair (two items) is to be made to a 5-storey shophouse without elevator access.
2 items x (5-1) levels
= 2 x 4 x S$12 =S$96/-(excl GST)
If the customer chooses at its own discretion that the goods are not to be carried up by staircases due to the labour charges or any other reason, refund will be made after deduction of the Standard delivery charge.
Delivery Timings:
From 0900 to 1800, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
The estimated delivery time for your order to be delivered to you depends on the area zone of your delivery address.
You will receive a notification by email or telephone from Godrej (S) Pte. Ltd. at least one day before the date of delivery to notify you of your confirmed delivery time slot.
Should we face difficulty in fulfilling your order within your preferred timing due to reasons such as lack of stock from suppliers or scheduling difficulties, you will be notified the soonest possible, of any change to the date or time of delivery.
Godrej (S) Pte. Ltd. reserves the right to amend the delivery timings or to substitute the original item to a similar product of higher or equal value should such circumstances arise.
Delivery of Multiple Items
If you have ordered more than one item, you may receive the items separately, and at different delivery times, though in most cases, we will arrange for all the items to be delivered in one truck. Should the items be delivered separately, you will be informed in advance.
Changing of Delivery Dates
Changes in delivery date should be made via email to info@godrejsg.com at least 48 hours before the stipulated delivery timing. Please provide your order invoice number, which can be found in the confirmation email sent to you.
Order Cancellation
Cancellation of order is not allowed for after confirmation of order.
Delivery to restricted Locations:
Due to security reasons and/or its remote and non-accessible location, Godrej (S) PTE. Ltd. may not be able deliver to below mentioned locations. Please contact us separately to check feasibility and applicable charges
